What is Non Fiction?
Nonfiction is different than what we have been reading. In Nonfiction books, we learn all about a topic like the ocean, plants, or even animals. The book looks, sounds, and feels different from a fiction book. What do you know about nonfiction already? |
Nonfiction Texts Have New Words.
When you read these types of books, you will notice that there are many new words. A lot of these words will be bold - thicker than the rest - or underlined. You can find the meaning of these words in the glossary at the end of the book. |
