Writing buddies help you to make your writing stronger and better. They can help you by asking questions. For example: What does this mean? Can you explain this more in your writing? Writers hook their readers by writing something interesting at the beginning of a story. When we write stories, we find ways to make our readers want to read more. Something you can do while you're writing is hook your reader with something fun that will make your reader want to read more. You can start a story with a sound like WHOOSH! You can start your story with an action like: 3...2...1...ZOOM! And just like that we were off! The roller coaster flipped and looped. WHOAH! Here comes another one! You can start your story with a question like: Have you ever been to Disney World? You can start your story with talking like: "Dad, let's go on Rockin' Roller Coaster," I said. |
